Dear professors and colleagues,
Since its founding in 1990, our organization, Korean Society of Thyroid-Head and Neck Surgery, has made remarkable progress through active academic activities among its members. I believe that these developments have contributed to members' participation, interest, reform, and a strong sense of association among members of society for the development. Thank you very much for your continued efforts to advance our society to the forefront of our society, and for the past two years, we are pleased to announce that the 12th Executive Secretary, who has helped us grow our society in the field of head and neck surgery, has contributed to the Kang-Dae Lee.
It is important to predict the future of the society in a rapidly changing social and medical environment. In order to do this, the 13th Executive Division will endeavor to :
First, we will create a window that enables you to engage in a complete discussion of interactions among members of the research, workforce, and education. We will be able to extend our academic capabilities to our fellow members of the world, which are unparalleled in comparison with world-class academics.
Second, I will try to encourage young members to have pride as head and neck surgeon. Through the conference, we will enjoy the pleasure of learning the joys and sorrows of life and the recognition that the academic community is a strong supporter.
Third, we plan to provide programs that can be applied at the society for the sake of harmony and friendship among members. Traditionally, our association is known as a harmonious society, which excludes regionalism and academic ties. Hopefully, we will continue to develop the atmosphere and create a more intimate atmosphere.
I hope that the Korean Society of Thyroid-Head and Neck Surgery will be established as a global standard, and contribute a lot to help strengthen the quality of our body.
The 13th President of Korean Society of Thyroid-Head and Neck Surgery
